I originally opened Whimsy Papers to sell hand crafted paper items in keeping with my love for scrapbooking and desire to feed my paper craft addiction. Over the years it has evolved into a shop that supplies professional looking paper products for my fellow small business owners.

It happened like this: I have another Etsy shop (Doodle Pad Designs) in which I hand make everything. I needed business cards, labels, and other packaging items to make my products look more professional. At first, I bought these items from other people but never really could find EXACTLY what I was looking for - so I started making my own. I had already learned to use photo editing programs to design my website and doctor my images, so making the leap into designing business cards and labels wasn't that hard. Hearing what my fellow crafters needed in the area of packaging helped spur me on in as far as the products I offer.

Ideas for my designs come from watching the trends in the craft stores, reading crafting/design magazines, seeing what my kids are into, listening to what my customers are looking for, and from walking through Target! :)
